[ Dexter usually didn't get nervous, but this would be nervewracking for any person. Maybe even a normal one.
He had called Bruce, burned the potatoes, paced his kitchen, managed to salvage the green beans, and set the table. Things were .. not entirely disastrous.

But he knew that could all change once his sister walked through that door, demanding answers he wasn't ready to give. ]
